ABOUT THE U14 HIGH PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Football New Brunswick is the provincial governing body for football in the province. One of our mandates is to provide a high performance developmental pathway for athletes interested in playing football at an elite level.
 
This programs mission is to provide selected players that meet the age requirements from New Brunswick with the fundamental skills to help them achieve their full potential. Players are going to be introduced to high performance schedules, practices and competition through a developmental process. Every athlete will leave the program with a much greater knowledge and understanding of high performance football and what to expect as they go through the U16 and U18 provincial team programs.
 
The U14 Football Program is open to players born in 2006 and 2007 and is a beginner level entry point to high performance sport. As an entry to high performance, there will be no cuts and will make every effort to give every player as equal playing time and opportunity as possible (Head Coach will still determine and take into account team and game variables).
 
 

SCHEDULE AND FEES

The U14 program is structured to accommodate the Spring minor football schedules to ensure players can participate in all opportunities to improve! Please understand the times will vary but anticipate evenings on Fridays or Most of the day on weekend dates.
Important Dates to Note: First Weekend - Friday, May 24^th and Saturday, May 25^th in Fredericton; Second Weekend – Saturday, June 1^st & Sunday June 2^nd in Quispamsis;  Third Weekend – Saturday, June 8^th and Sunday, June 9th in Sackville (with a Game versus Nova Scotia); Forth Weekend – Sunday, June 16^th in Fredericton; Fifth Weekend – Saturday, June 22^nd & Sunday, June 23^rd practices in Sackville followed by a game in Nova Scotia.
 
 
U14 Provincial Development Program Fee - Only $400
Fee includes: Over 20 hours of football training and film study, t-Shirt and shorts, an equipment bag and 2 exhibition games against Nova Scotia’s U14 development team.

FUNDRAISING

Each year Football NB arranges several fundraising opportunities. Any fundraising you do goes directly towards your registration fees.
*Note: if you raise more then what you owe in fees the remaining fundraised money will be put back into the program.
All fundraisers will be coordinated by our returning summer student Mikey Domanico. He will be able to answer questions on fundraisers and can be reached at fundraisingfnb@gmail.com
 
 
Fundraising Opportunities!

Raffle   •Tickets will be in packs of 10 •$5 ticket ($50 for the booklet) •3 draws for 3 prizes will be available – Top prize will be a trip for 2 to the Grey Cup in Edmonton! •Parents buy the booklet upfront and keep revenue from whatever tickets they sell.     Make back Opportunity: All revenue generated from ticket sales go towards player’s final registration fee!

Go Fund Me   FNB will create an account for any parents wishing to participate in this fundraiser. The family will be given a Go fund Me account and profile. Players and parents will be able to share this profile online to family and friends requesting donations.
